Adam Drake

I’m a writer and creative strategist known for contributions to both television and advertising, with a background as a former television writer and essayist for the National Lampoon. As a creative director, I created Pepsi's 2019 Super Bowl commercial, “Is Pepsi OK?” which evolved into the brand’s year-long national campaign. I continue to be a driving force in the industry, seamlessly blending humor and creativity to leave an enduring impact on audiences.

I’ve also directed television and radio commercials and helped develop numerous television shows. Additionally, I was an Emmy-nominated member of the Late Show with David Letterman.

Currently, I’m building Rocket & Sparks, an AI-powered idea engine for advertising and marketing firms.

In my spare time, I enjoy skiing, reading, cycling, running, creating watercolors, and spending time with my wife, two children, and Poppy, my Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy.

I earned a BS in English and Communication from the University of Miami where I was a four-year member of the school’s varsity men’s rowing team.
